How it works

Four steps. Use it with your current system — or on its own.

PW Command can work alongside your municipality's existing software or operate as a standalone public works platform. Create work orders, organize daily operations, assign crews and equipment, track compliance, document work, and close the loop — all in one system.

  1. Step 1

    Bring in — or create — the work

    Import existing work orders, upload CSV files, or create work orders directly in PW Command. Municipalities can keep their existing system of record or manage the operational workflow entirely within PW Command.

  2. Step 2

    Build the daily plan

    PW Command organizes the day's work by location, priority, staff availability, qualifications, equipment, and operational requirements, then recommends suitable crew and resource matches.

  3. Step 3

    Review and approve

    Authorized supervisors review the proposed plan, adjust assignments, and confirm that required safety, locate, compliance, and operational information has been recorded before work goes out.

  4. Step 4

    Share the approved plan

    Approved assignments go to crews with the details, locations, resources, and instructions needed for the day, then completion and documentation come back to close the loop.

Keep what you have, or use PW Command as your operational system. Municipalities can leave their current platform as the system of record, or run the full operational workflow — creating work, planning it, assigning crews and equipment, documenting requirements, supervisor approval, distribution, tracking, and completion — inside PW Command.
