Security

Straightforward security, plainly described.

PW Command is early software. We'd rather describe honestly what's in place today than overclaim.

Encryption

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest by the cloud database and storage services PW Command runs on.

Role-based access

Users sign in with an account tied to a role. What each user can see and do is scoped to that role.

Audit trail on decisions

Every recommendation and supervisor approval is recorded so you can trace how a day's plan was built.

You choose the system of record

Keep Cityworks, PSD Citywide, MESH, or ArcGIS as the system of record and PW Command holds only the working plan. Run PW Command on its own and it holds the record itself, in your own cloud database.

What's in place today

A short, honest list.

  • Encryption in transit and at rest
  • Account-based sign-in with role-scoped access
  • Audit log of plans generated and approvals recorded
  • Cloud-hosted database and storage with managed backups
  • You choose the system of record — your existing work-order system, or PW Command when it runs standalone

SSO, formal certifications, and per-customer isolation are on the roadmap, not shipped today. If you have a security questionnaire, send it over and we'll answer it accurately.
